Since 2008, taxpayers have had to adjust to the new reality of lower pay, lower home values, loss of pensions and 401K cushions, even loss of jobs with replacement jobs that do not pay what they made before. Taxpayers voted for a temporary 3 year tax to cushion the adjustment that schools were going to have to make to adjust to their new reality. That 3 years is now up. Adjust like the rest of us.
