Robyn Conrad, principal at Gilbert's Playa Del Rey Elementary School, will serve on a national committee to develop guidelines to determine how, when and why principals should be evaluated. In October, and again in January 2012, she will travel to Alexandria, Va., to meet with the team charged with doing the work.
The National Association of Elementary School Principals, in partnership with the National Association of Secondary School Principals, is launching the Principal Evaluation Initiative to create new guidelines and ensure they are supported by research.
