Tempe Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly punched another man in the face at the Jack in the Box in downtown Tempe May 20 at 3:13 a.m., according to Sgt. Jeff Glover.

At 721 S. Mill Ave. on an early Sunday morning, the suspect allegedly physically assaulted the victim, who then fell backwards, striking his head on the pavement, Glover said. The victim sustained several skull fractures, as well as swelling and bleeding on the brain.

The suspect is described as a white man in his early 20s, 5-foot-8, a thin build, dark hair and wearing a gray colored t-shirt, blue jeans and sneakers. Police are also seeking the suspect’s associate, described as a white man also in his early 20s, 5-foot-8, thin build, dark “mop top” hair style, and wearing a maroon colored shirt, blue jeans and sneakers.

Anyone with any information on this incident is encouraged to call the Tempe Police Department at (480) 350-8311.
