FOUR PEAKS - A scout troop involving Two adults and six children ages 12 to 13 were found to be okay, after they went missing Saturday night in the Four Peaks area.

The Maricopa County Sheriff Office gathered a search and rescue team on Saturday night, after the troop did not return from their camping trip Saturday afternoon.

According to MCSO, they found the troop at about 1:30 a.m. on Sunday morning.

The troop was about a four hour hike away from the trailhead, according to officials.

MCSO says the troop indicated they were okay, and that they wanted to finish the hike on their own.

At 8:30 a.m. a helicopter spotted them hiking towards the trailhead.

The troop will soon be reunited with family and friends.

Why MCSO? They couldn't find the nose on their face.

Well the MCSO Deputies didn't have a hard time finding a bunch of...."ILLEGAL ALIENS"....who were working in the offices of the........MAYOR OF MESA , THE CITY COUNCIL, THE CITY MANAGER AND OTHER SUPPOSEDLY "SECURE" AREAS.

Please get your information straight. The troop was NOT lost. They were not scheduled to return from their hike to Four Peaks until today. One of the parents got the day wrong and sounded the alarm. Once MSCO had made contact with the troop and realized they were in no trouble, that is why they let them hike out on their own.

According to the news, they were lost, and had run out of water when MCSO found them by helicopter. Gee, mwmike, if you had any personal character, you'd apologize for you bias comment.

ihEARDtHAT... You have it wrong. The boys were supposed to return on Saturday Dec 1, 2012. They WERE missing. The scout trips never last more than 1 night, unless it is the week long scout camp. They left on Friday and were supposed to return on Saturday. I know the famlies, you need to get your information straight.
