Holly Solomon, the Gilbert woman who allegedly struck her husband with the couple’s SUV for not voting in the presidential election, pled not guilty to two counts of aggravated assault and one count of disorderly conduct in Maricopa County Superior Court Thursday.
On Nov. 10, Solomon, 28, was arguing with her 36-year-old husband, David, because he did not vote, police said, and she believes that her family will suffer hardship under President Obama’s second term.
The fight escalated and a witness told police that Solomon got into the couple’s SUV and chased him around the parking lot before striking him and pinning him between the car and the curb, police said.
David Solomon was taken to a Scottsdale trauma center in critical condition, police said.
Holly Solomon is scheduled to appear next in court on Jan. 11.

I suggest she be sentenced to 40 years in prison--5 for the aggravated assault, and 35 for being stupid.
