Chandler, Mesa, Gilbert and Tempe have a new claim to fame: They’re ranked in the top 40 of safest driving cities, according to Allstate Insurance’s eighth annual Best Drivers Report.
The findings, based on Allstate claims data, rank Chandler 7th, Mesa 11th, Gilbert 20th and Tempe 27th. Phoenix was the highest-ranking city with more than 1 million residents — but in 53rd place, failed to make the top 40.
The average driver in Chandler, Mesa and Gilbert might expect to be in a collision every 12 years, compared with every 11 years for Tempe drivers.
The top honor went to Sioux Falls, South Dakota, where the average driver could be in a collision every 13.8 years.

Sioux Falls, SD doesn't even compute or compare - because there is virtually NO population compared with the Mesa, Chandler, Gilbert, Tempe area in Arizona. In fact, being involved in a collision every 13.8 years is a LOT for Sioux Falls - compared to the populations and number of automobiles in the Arizona cities.

Because of all the big bad soccer moms the traffic cops write tickets to for going 10 over?
Drunk illegals plague these cities and have no regard for other motorists and I simply don't believe these statistics.
