Mesa police arrested two burglary suspects after conducting a search Sunday at an apartment complex in the 1900 block of North Country Club Drive. Police were called to respond to a vehicle burglary, where a man jumped a wall into an apartment complex. Police found one man on a private patio after establishing a perimeter. The man said he was with his girlfriend, who was found nearby.

A witness told police he saw the man trying to break into a vehicle. Police later discovered the man and his girlfriend were siphoning gas from a vehicle.

Damiyan M. Kalsz, 28, and Kiri D. Rader, 28, were arrested on suspicion of attempted third degree burglary and criminal trespass.

If you are 28 years old and braking into cars or siphoning gas, you are officially at rock bottom. Now all there is is to decide why you are at rock bottom and to fix it.
