Motorcyclist dead after crash in Chandler

A motorcycle rider is dead after losing control in Chandler Wednesday evening.

According to Chandler Police, a 27-year-old male was traveling southbound on Price Road near Armstrong Way. Evidence shows the motorcyclist struck the median curb and then struck a tree.

The crash happened just before 5:30 p.m., according to police.

The man was taken to the hospital where he was pronounced dead.

The cause of the crash is still under investigation.
