A woman faces charges of aggravated assault after telling police she stabbed her boyfriend in the chest.
Police responding to a call from Kimberly Paul, 34, found a male with a single stab wound to the chest in the 1700 block of West Emelita. Before he was transported by ambulance to a local hospital for surgery, he stated he had been stabbed by his live-in girlfriend.
The woman told officers she was arguing with the man when she stabbed him, and she was booked into a city holding facility.
