A man convicted of killing his ex-girlfriend in front of her 2-year-old daughter in a Tempe parking lot is scheduled to be sentenced.

KPHO-TV reports (http://bit.ly/VLshdT) that Victor Martinez is slated to be sentenced Monday in a Phoenix court for the shooting death of Christina Hallman in January 2010.

Police say her toddler was left alone with her body overnight, until employees of the business where it happened outside showed up for work the next morning.

Authorities say Martinez had been dating Hallman about three months before the relationship soured.

My concern here is another episode that will further question the sense of justice in United States. Hopefully the evidence will be laid out quickly and if this guy is quilty justice will be doled out with expediance. That would be ideal. I am not confident that it will be reality. You will note that it took almost 20 years for the peice of human garbage who rapped and killed 2 young girls to get his just execution recently.
