PHOENIX (AP) — Authorities have identified the seven people killed when a tractor-trailer and van collided last weekend on Interstate 10 about 60 miles west of Phoenix.

The Arizona Department of Public Safety says all but one of the victims of the fiery July 29 crash were members of the Colorado River Indian Tribe in western Arizona.

DPS says the two adults and five children ranged in age from 10 to 51. Their genders weren't immediately released Friday and it's still unclear who was driving. All of the victims were inside the van.

DPS says the tractor-trailer crossed the highway's median, struck the van head on and the vehicles caught fire after the force of the crash pushed them into a culvert.

The driver of the tractor-trailer and his wife both escaped injury.
