Police are looking for a man and two women who took a shopping cart full of alcohol from a Chandler Walmart store and fired a shotgun blast toward its employees.

At about 3 a.m. Saturday, as the three left the store at 2750 E. Germann Road without paying, police say an employee approached them and was punched in the face several times by the man. The robbers then fled to a silver Dodge Neon, where the man retrieved a shotgun and walked back to the store entrance, ordering employees who had gathered to go back inside.

As the employees retreated, the man fired one round toward them, striking a front glass window, police said. No one was injured.

The man is described as in his 20s with medium brown skin, about 5 feet 7 inches tall and heavyset. The women are also described as in their 20s with medium brown skin and heavyset.
