A man and a woman armed with a handgun have been targeting sub and pizza places demanding dough.

Not pizza dough, but cash. They have struck seven times since the middle of August.

Police released surveillance video that captured video of the suspects.

They wore hats, and covered their faces, but police describe the man as a 35-50 year old male. They said the woman is between 25 and 35 years old.

Police said one of the suspects waits in a car outside the restaurant, while the other goes in, robbing the cash register.

"In this particular case, you will see the aggression has picked up, on Saturday, we had two within ten minutes of each other. We're afraid that someone is going to get hurt," Phoenix police Sgt. Trent Crump said.

Police said they have taken turns committing the robberies at Subway and Dominos franchises across the Valley and that the frequency is alarming.

The pair make their getaway in a dark green or blue SUV.

Anyone with information about the robberies is asked to contact Phoenix police.
