A 23-year-old man was arrested in Gilbert for DUI, felony flight, reckless driving, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of dangerous drugs Thursday, according to Gilbert police.

Garland Dale Gray III allegedly failed to pull over and actively evaded police when an officer attempted to make a traffic stop at Higley and Warner roads, police said. When Gray stopped, he ran from his vehicle, and was located a short time later near the intersection of Megan and Swallow roads, according to police.

Officers found over 70 steroid pills and five loaded syringes inside of Gray’s vehicle, police said. He was arrested and booked into Fourth Avenue Jail.
