A Mesa man was carjacked about 5 a.m. Tuesday when he left his home for work and a man approached him from behind, demanding his car keys.
The suspect left in the victim’s white 2010 Ford Escape, which Mesa police have registered as a stolen vehicle.
The carjacking took place in the 100 block of South Valle Verde, which is near Main and 104th streets.
