Medical rescue teams in Gilbert treated six people who were overcome by the heat at a campaign event attended by former vice presidential candidate Sarah Palin.
KPHO-TV reports (http://bit.ly/Pod6UP) that Gilbert Fire Department spokesman Mike Conner says one person was taken to the hospital on Monday. He says the others, ranging in age from 36 to 91, were treated at the scene.
The former Alaskan governor spoke at a rally for Congressional candidate Kirk Adams at Joe's Farm Grill.
Palin made mention of the heat during her opening comments. She said many Alaskans come to Arizona to "thaw out."
Temperatures reached a high of 106 in Gilbert on Monday.

August in the middle of the desert...what did this stupid woman expect? Maybe she mistook Arizona for another counrty. We all know geography isn't her strong suit.

Jug, look at it this way...she isn't the president and she doesn't think there are 57 states in the union.

Just curious...when conservatives repeat the 57 state thing, are they just having fun at Obama's expense, or do they truly believe Obama was misinformed as to the number of states?

Gee, with all that hot air from all show no go Palin, I'm surprised more people didn' t collapse.
I do know one thing though, my wife and I will never patronize Joes Farm Gril again to give my hard earned money to these tea cracket cretins.
