A man driving a motorcycle in Mesa died after the driver of a car turned left in front of his bike.
Mesa police say the motorcyclist was riding east on Southern Avenue just before 11 p.m. Thursday when the westbound car failed to yield the right-of-way and turned into his path and the vehicles collided.
The rider was wearing a helmet but died of his injuries at a local hospital. He name is being withheld until his family can be notified.
Police spokesman detective Steve Berry says investigators have not yet determined if the driver of the car will face charges.

The driver of the car BETTER face charges. Failure to yield the right of way to on coming traffic caused the motorcyclist's death so there needs to be charges!
