A motorist flagged down officers Friday to report a person in another vehicle had pointed a gun at her, Gilbert police said.

The officers were investigating a collision with injuries at Queen Creek Road and Val Vista Drive when the motorist contacted them, police said.

Police were able to locate the vehicle and conducted a high risk stop. Four juveniles were removed from their car. One of the teens admitted he pointed a plastic toy out the rear door at motorists.

The reporting party pulled over initially, but left the scene before providing her contact information to police. With no victim for disorderly conduct, the juveniles were released to their parents.
