A 20-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were arrested Tuesday after they allegedly broke into a car in Gilbert, police said.

Kenneth Jay Rogyom, 20, and the boy were arrested for multiple counts of vehicle burglary and attempted vehicle burglary. Rogyom was also arrested for possession of marijuana, false information to police and a valid parole violation warrant for aggravated assault.

Multiple residents reported seeing the two suspects break into vehicles in the 1400 block of North Paul Street, police said. One caller watched as the two suspects attempted to break into two cars and successfully entered two others, police said.

Police were able to find one suspect quickly. They searched the area before locating and finding the other suspect.
