Jurors will begin deliberating Wednesday at a trial for an Arizona woman charged in the disappearance of her baby more than two years ago.
Elizabeth Johnson has pleaded not guilty to kidnapping, custodial interference and conspiracy to commit custodial inference in the December 2009 disappearance of her then-8-month-old son, Gabriel.
She faces up to 27 years in prison if convicted on all counts.
Authorities say Johnson told the boy's father that she killed Gabriel and dumped him in a trash bin in San Antonio, Texas.
She recanted and told police that she gave the baby to a couple at a San Antonio park, but she never provided names.
Police don't know if the child is still alive.
They searched a landfill, but no body was found.

while i never wish bad for anyone and that is the truth I truly hope this girl goes to jail, whether baby gabriel is alive or in heaven and i hope he is still alive that i hate the fact that she went to the park and gave him away to a couple she claims she does not know who they were. That says enough about her that anyone needs to know. It is acceptable to go to a park and give away puppies and kitties but to give away your child is totally WRONG. I understand judge not lest you be judged but for the sake of this baby I am judging and she does not deserve to have any more kids but that is just a human viewpoint since we all know that God is the author of life and his wisdom is totally beyond what i could even think of. Her voice on tape telling the father so you wanna talk to other girls?? so now you will pay mentality is sickening. she should have slapped the smile off the husband for that not made it easy to get rid of your child just to get back. Her moral character leaves alot to be desired and i hope she is found guilty.
