Police seek help in identifying EV burglary suspect

Chandler police are asking for the public's help in identifying a burglary suspect responsible for breaking into eight homes across the East Valley.

The burglar, who has broken into homes in Chandler, Tempe and Sun Lakes over the last five months is described as a black male with a heavy build who speaks English with a thick Jamaican accent. He has been caught on video surveillance wearing a light-colored hooded pullover, sweatshirt, long pants and Nike shoes. He also wears gloves and carries a light-colored backpack.

In each crime, thousands of dollars in cash and valuables such as jewelry were stolen, according to police.
