Chandler residents can learn more information about gangs during a Chandler police discussion Thursday, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the city’s Sunset Branch library, 4930 W. Ray Road.
The discussion will be led by Chandler police Sgt. Greg Howarth and Christy McClendon of ICAN — Improving Chandler Area Neighborhoods.
If residents can’t make it that night, there will be a second gathering July 28 from 10 a.m. to noon at the Chandler Public Library’s Downtown Branch in the City Council Chambers, 22 S. Delaware St.
The meetings are being hosted by the Boomerang Program, which is geared toward baby boomers, said Anne Christensen, program coordinator.
