Chandler’s Hamilton High School will represent Arizona this weekend at the national We the People finals in Washington, D.C.
Students will be judged on their understanding of the Constitution and their analytical thinking skills. For the competition, students will participate in simulated congressional hearings before a panel of judges.
More than 2 million students and teachers participate in the We the People: The Citizen and the Constitution program. About 1,200 will be at this weekend’s competition.
