Hasn’t everyone wanted to dunk their auto mechanic a time or two? Now’s your chance, but Desert Car Care Center of Chandler is banking that this time, it’s a mechanic you’ll still want to bring your car to.
Desert Car Care, 95 N. Dobson Road, is hosting a free public event 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. July 2-3, when area residents can get a free 15-point safety inspection and enjoy in some summer fun while they wait.
In addition to double-checking such necessities as lights, brakes, and tire pressure, the center invites those stopping by to enjoy beverages, prizes and more — including an opportunity “dunk the mechanic,” as owner Frank Leutz dons his 1920s swimsuit and steps into the tank!
