Xico, a Chandler multidisciplinary arts organization, has volunteer opportunities available for artists. You might teach an adult or teen art class, create and organize community art projects, or help with the installation of exhibits. No matter the job, you're sure to broaden your skill sets as an artist.

Volunteers must be at least 18 and have art skills. Hours are flexible, according to the ad on volunteermatch.org.

Xico, formerly known as Xicanindio, is a 501(c)3 nonprofit that was created in 1975 by local Chicano and Native American artists to promote indigenous arts and culture through community-based arts programs. Xico, 44 S. San Marcos Place, is one of the oldest ethnic nonprofit arts organizations in Arizona.

For more information or to volunteer, email info@xicoinc.org or call Hannah Humphrey at (480) 833-5875. Learn more about Xico at http://www.xicoinc.org.
