Documentary film buffs can enjoy a summer series of movies at the Chandler Public Library, which will host a 10-film “Get Reel” series starting Tuesday. The series will showcase films by POV, the PBS documentary series. The series will include a wide spectrum of films exploring 21st Century global perspectives and local events such as Memorial Day, July 4th and the start of the school year. The award-winning POV is in its 25th season and includes more than 325 documentaries.
The films will be shown from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. Tuesdays, through July 31 at the Chandler Public Library, 22 S. Delaware St. The schedule, including film descriptions, can be viewed at www.chandlerlibrary.org.
