Boys and girls ages 7 to 14 who want to compete in the 2012 Hershey Track & Field Meet on March 31, must register by March 2. The entry fee is $4 per child for Chandler residents and $6 for non-residents. No registration will be accepted after March 2 or the day of the event.
The meet will be held at Chandler High School and is open to children who live or attend school within Chandler's city limits. The competition features sprints, relays, the standing long jump, and the softball throw for youths in various age categories.
Registration forms are available online at www.chandleraz.gov/youth-sports, from teachers in Chandler schools, at all Chandler libraries, and at several Chandler recreation and community centers.
