Chandler administered oaths of office for its newly elected officials Jan. 10
Oaths of office were given to Mayor Jay Tibshraeny, who was re-elected to a second two-year term; Councilmember Jack Sellers, who was re-elected to a second four-year term, and newly elected Councilmember Nora Ellen, who was elected to a four-year term. Councilmember Rick Heumann, re-elected to a second four-year term, was sworn in to office previously, and participated in the ceremony via telephone.
At a meeting following the ceremony, Sellers was unanimously elected to a one-year term as vice mayor.
The next regular City Council meeting will held 7 p.m. Jan. 24.
