If you're in the mood for some classic spiritual songs and music, check out the free concert to be performed by the East Valley Chorale at 4 p.m., May 1 at the First Baptist Church of Sun Lakes, 9535 E. Riggs Road, Sun Lakes.
The chorale is composed of singers from 35 different area churches and performs a wide range of choral music - from "Amazing Grace" and Mozart's "Alleluia" to "On Eagles' Wings" and Handel's "Sing with Songs of Joy." The group performs at area care centers and independent living centers, churches, mobile home parks, RV resorts and retirement communities.
