To promote character education for Valley students, USA’s Skateland and Arizona Character Education Foundation (ACEF) will host a skate night that includes games, contests, entertainment and more.
Over the next year, different Valley USA’s Skateland locations will host events to highlight “Character Counts!” and the six pillars of character: trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring and citizenship.
The first event will be 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. Aug. 31 at USA’s Skateland’s Chandler location, 1101 W. Ray Road.
Admission is $3 per student (skate rental not included). Proceeds will benefit ACEF.
