Tumbleweed Park in Chandler hosting Woofstock event

Pet owners in need of vaccinations for their animals will have an opportunity to pay for vaccinations at Tumbleweed Park in Chandler on Nov. 16.

Called Woofstock, the event will offer vaccinations for dogs and cats for various diseases. Rabies vaccines are $20; canine 4-in-1 vaccines are $23; and feline 3-in-1 vaccines are $27. Licenses are also available for purchase, with the cost at $17 for sterilized dogs and $42 for unsterilized dogs.

The organizers will only accept cash or checks for the procedures, and dogs must be on a leash less than 6 feet in length. Cats have to be in a carrier, with one cat per carrier.

The event runs from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Tumbleweed Park, located at 2250 S. McQueen Road in Chandler.
