A Chandler Bank of America affiliate will hire 110 financial advisers in the first quarter of 2012. The advisers will work at the Merrill Edge Advisory Center, where they will specialize in customers with investable assets of $50,000 to $250,000. These so-called preferred customers are among the fastest-growing segment in the financial services industry, according to Bank of America.
The advisers will be available by phone or in person. With the hirings, Bank of America will employ more than 250 in the Valley who specialize in this area of advisement.
