Chandler police are asking for the public’s help in locating and identifying a man who robbed a branch of Chase Bank on Tuesday.

The man, who was wearing a construction worker’s hardhat and a reflective traffic vest with his face covered by a black cloth, walked into the bank at 5915 W. Chandler Blvd. about 11:15 a.m. and pounded on the counter while demanding money from the teller. The teller complied with his demands and placed cash in the bag before the robber walked out of the bank, according to police.

A customer followed the suspect into the parking lot, but lost sight of him a few minutes before police arrived.

If anyone had any information about this crime, they can call Chandler police at (480) 782-4130.
