Teenage comic fans in Chandler can geek out next year at LibCon 2012 - and they can even design the logo for the mini-convention. The Chandler Public Library is asking folks 12 to 18 to come up with a logo for the event that celebrates comics, Japanese manga and anime, role-playing games and other fantasy and sci-fi entertainment. The winner gets $50 and has his or her logo on all LibCon promotional materials.
Designs are due Nov. 30. The winning logo must include the event's name, date and "Chandler Public Library" in the design. The logo can include any of the convention's themes. It must be about 8 feet wide by 2.5 feet tall, in digital or paper form. There is a limit of one submission per person. Forms are online at www.chandlerlibrary.org.
LibCon 2012 takes place March 25. You can follow it on Facebook at www.facebook.com/libcon.
