T-Mobile Limited stores in Chandler and Mesa are partnering with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office to help parents record vital information about their children to help locate them in the event they become lost or missing.

Deputies will fingerprint children who come in with the parents, who also will be given a free Child ID kit to take home, add personal information to such as date of birth and current photo and keep on hand in case of an emergency. The information in the kits can be available to give to law enforcement officials in an emergency without the worry of providing significant details that can be hard to remember under stressful circumstances, said Sheriff Joe Arpaio.

The fingerprints and Child ID kits will be available from noon to 5 p.m. Saturday at the T-Mobile store at 990 E. Riggs Road, Suite 3, Chandler; 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 16 at 2815 S. Alma School Road, Suite 15, Chandler; and 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. March 26 at 1457 W. Southern Ave., Mesa.
