Want to get back in shape this fall? Chandler’s Tumbleweed Recreation Center can help.

The center, 745 E. Germann Road, will host a free expo 5:30 p.m. to 7 p.m. Aug. 7 to showcase the variety of recreation and exercise classes offered at the center this fall. Immediately following the expo, attendees can participate in a free “courtyard yoga” class from 7 p.m. to 8 p.m., as the TRC staff attempts to host the largest group exercise class since the facility opened in 2008.

The expo is open to the public and will feature Chandler Recreation instructors demonstrating classes and activities in the Tumbleweed Recreation Center courtyard. Classes are available for people of all ages and abilities, and visitors can meet the instructors and ask questions. All of the city’s leisure and lifestyle classes are listed in the fall issue of the Break Time magazine, which is available at Chandler recreation centers and libraries, and online at www.chandleraz.gov/breaktime. Class registration opens at 10 a.m. Aug. 4 for Chandler residents, and at 10 a.m. Aug. 10 for non-residents.

Information: (480) 782-2900 or www.chandleraz.gov/tumbleweed.
