Chandler police are seeking the public's assistance in locating three suspects officers say are connected to the homicide of a man stabbed and decapitated on Sunday inside an apartment.

Police identified the men as Juan Campos Morales Aguilar, Jose David Castro Reyes, and a man only currently known to them as "El Joto." The three are believed to be traveling in a 2003 Red Ford Expedition.

About 5:30 a.m. Sunday, Chandler police were called to the 300 block of West Fairview by a witness who said a man was down. Officers found a Hispanic male in his 30s stabbed and decapitated. He has not been identified, pending notification of family.

Crisantos Moroyoqui, 36, who was believed to have known the victim, was arrested in connection to his death on suspicion of second-degree murder and hindering prosecution.

Det. Frank Mendoza said Moroyoqui was booked Sunday and was not cooperating with the investigation. Moroyoqui lives at the apartment complex, but police did not know if the body was found in the suspect's apartment.

It was unknown Monday morning if Moroyoqui has had prior contact with police.

Aguilar is described as 5 feet 10 inches tall, 220 pounds with short hair and clean shaven. He was last seen wearing a black shirt with a white T-shirt and blue jeans.

Castro Reyes is 5 feet 10 inches tall, weighs 180 pounds and has short hair and is clean shaven. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a white shirt and a white T-shirt.

"El Joto" is about 5 feet 4 inches tall, has a thin build with short spiked black hair and a goatee. He was last seen wearing a white T-shirt with a black pattern shirt and Levi's blue jeans.

The Ford Expedition they are believed to be traveling in has California license plate No. 6FWR784.

Police urge anyone who think they have seen the men not to approach them but to call 911. Anyone with information also can call (480) 782-4130.
