It took a SWAT team, but a 26-year-old Mesa man was arrested Sunday on suspicion of domestic violence.
According to Mesa police, Joshua James Deysie assaulted his 31-year-old girlfriend, pointed a handgun at her head and knocked her to the ground.
Police weren't able to contact Deysie by phone at first, but a SWAT team arrived and, using a public address system, persuaded him to surrender.
