The Arizona Science and Engineering Fair needs judges for the March fair.
Judges need two years of college and a desire to encourage students "in their quest for knowledge." Volunteers can choose which age group projects they want to judge. Judging will take place 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. March 24 at the Phoenix Convention Center.
About two weeks before the fair, judges will receive a packet with instructions, score sheets and project criteria.
The day begins with a breakfast, followed by a 45-minute overview of assignments and time for questions. Judges also receive a lunch, snacks and drinks throughout the day. For information, see http://azsef.asu.edu/judging.shtml.
