Carrington College Mesa, part of DeVry Inc., has earned a five-year accreditation for its physical therapist assistant associate degree program from the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE).

In as little as two years, graduates of the program are prepared to work under the direction of a physical therapist to help patients restore physical functions, relieve pain and prevent further disability through exercise and other therapeutic treatments.

According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, employment prospects for a qualified physical therapist assistant are expected to increase by about 33 percent through 2018, much faster than other occupations.

For more information about certificate and degree programs offered at Carrington College, or to register for classes, go to www.carrington.edu/cc or call (888) 720-5014.
