Police are requesting the public’s assistance in finding a suspect in the robbery of a Tempe Burger King on Thursday.

During the evening a male suspect entered the establishment and pointed a handgun at a store employee before demanding money, according to police.

After receiving the money, police say, the suspect fled the store about 8:50 p.m. and has not been located since.

The robber is described by witnesses and police as 5 feet 6 inches, medium build, wearing a green bandana, black hooded sweatshirt and black pants.

Anyone with additional information is asked to contact the Tempe Police Department at (480) 350-8311.
