An intruder sexually assaulted a woman in her bedroom on Sunday in the 1600 block of East University Drive.

Police said the victim, in her 20s, awoke about 3:45 a.m. to find three men inside her home.

She had returned from a party earlier in the night and did not know how the men got into her second-floor apartment. Police said there was no sign of forced entry.

The woman moved out of her apartment, and police are continuing to investigate. There are no detailed descriptions of the men available. Police said there have not been any similar incidents recently in the city.
