The Maricopa County Board of Supervisors announced Wednesday it will hold a special ratification meeting at 10:05 a.m. Monday to authorize legal actions that were taken during a meeting last week that violated the state's Open Meetings Law.

The ratification meeting is set for the Supervisors' Conference Room, 301 W. Jefferson St., on the 10th floor.

The meeting is required because Maricopa County sheriff's deputies and security personnel barred public access to last week's public meeting for 90 minutes.
