Eastbound Loop 202 will be closed between Loop 101 and Gilbert Road from 10 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday as work begins to add carpool lanes along the Santan Freeway stretch of the 202.
The southbound Loop 101 ramp to eastbound Loop 202 will also be closed. The Arizona Department of Transportation recommends detours south on Price Road, east on Germann Road and north on Gilbert Road to connect with Loop 202.
In Phoenix, southbound Interstate 17 ramps to I-10 in both directions will be closed at the "Stack" interchange south of McDowell Road. That area will be closed 11 p.m. Friday to 5 a.m. Monday for widening work. The southbound I-17 on-ramp at Thomas Road and off-ramp at McDowell Road will also be closed. ADOT recommends exiting southbound I-17 at Indian School or Thomas roads and using southbound 19th Avenue (for eastbound I-10) or southbound 35th Avenue (for westbound I-10). Drivers also can stay on southbound I-17 to access downtown Phoenix or to reach I-10 near Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport.

ohhh, every time when we are planning to go somewhere out in the weekend, these kind of mega blocks are happening, but we really appreciate that they are conveying this message via news among all peoples. I think we will have to travel from another way.
