There are so many things wrong with this proposal, it's hard to know where to begin.
Suffice to say that Smith will do anything to help out his developer pals. He's turned into a real political prostitute.
Brady needs to be fired. He is hell-bent on destroying Riverview park at any cost; first with Waveyard, now with the Cubs.
Why do Smith and Brady hate Mesa?

Since Mesa seems to be going it alone it funding the stadium, they should go with one of the East Mesa sites as they would be further away from any of the other cities that refused to cooperate in getting this done. Keep the fans who want to see the Cubs in Mesa, spending their money in Mesa hotels and restaurants ... of couse, you'll have to have someone build these hotels and restaurants.

Bravo to Mayor Smith for being hell-bent on keeping the crown jewell of the half-billion dollar Cactus League industry inside Mesa. Your tireless efforts are appreciated by the vast majority of citizens. Bring on the November vote!!!
