TEMPE, AZ - Tempe police have found a 6-month-old boy who went missing Saturday afternoon.

Police spokesman Michael Pooley said family members last saw Dylan Jordan Palomo Rodriguez and his father, 26-year-old Jesse Reuben Rodriguez, around 3 p.m. at their home near McClintock Drive and Guadalupe Road.

Family members told police Rodriguez left with the baby to "run errands" and was supposed to be back by 7 p.m., but never returned.

Police said Rodriguez took limited supplies for Dylan and had never been gone with the baby for an extended period of time.

Police released a statement around 3:45 p.m Monday saying the father dropped the child off at a family member's house safe and sound.
