Chandler voters to decide how many years mayor serves

Voters will decide this November if they want to double the Chandler mayor’s term of office to four years.
The City Council approved placing a city charter amendment on the Nov. 6 ballot, which would make the mayor’s term the same as members of the City Council. The change would make the mayor’s term the same length as most other Valley cities.
