CASPER, Wyo. — A Scottsdale concert promoter accused of writing a bad check to the Steve Miller Band for a 2008 show in Casper has pleaded guilty to one count of felony check fraud.

A prosecutor says Robert A. Green entered his plea Tuesday before District Court Judge Thomas Sullins in Casper.

Authorities say the 48-year-old Scottsdale man didn't have enough money in his bank account to cover a $90,600 check he wrote to the band for performing in November 2008.

District Attorney Michael Blonigen says the plea agreement calls for Green to reimburse the band the total or an amount the band agrees to.

Green is free on bond while awaiting sentencing.
