Tempe's spring election will include three candidates for mayor and five candidates vying for three City Council positions, the city said Thursday. Tempe has certified current Councilman Mark Mitchell, Michael Monti and Linda Spears as mayoral candidates. And the candidates for the council are Dick Foreman, Kolby Granville, Councilman Joel Navarro, Angie Taylor Thornton and Councilman Corey Woods.
Tempe's primary election is March 13, and the general election takes place May 15.
To vote, residents must have lived in the city 29 days before the election. For more information, visit www.tempe.gov/clerk/election.

No trolley! A new police chief to build morale. Better maintenance of streets. Stronger traffic and residential nuisance enforcement. We will need NEW council members to get these things done.
