Tempe seeks feedback on fire inspection changes

Tempe is holding two forums to share information about and to get feedback on proposed changes to its fire inspection program for all types of businesses. The changes involve creating a tiered inspection program for low-, medium- and high-risk businesses. The Fire Department has listed details at http://1.usa.gov/jrNQTE. The forums are scheduled for 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. June 8 at the Tempe Fire Training Center, 1340 E. University Drive, and from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m. June 9 at the Tempe Police South Substation, 8201 S.
